For reasons such as those you’ve outlined, I will not be providing my consent to government by voting for my master

Very sensible. Way back in 1988, I voted for Ron Paul who was, at the time, the Libertarian party nominee for president. The alternatives were nothing good and even worse. After that, I stopped voting in presidential elections. I recall going to the place of voting in 1990 and finding a very long line because I was in a Democrat machine city and living in a majority GOP and Libertarian precinct, so naturally we had too few voting booths, long waits to discourage us, and similar idiocy. At times I think that I recall going ahead and voting to make sure I cast my ballot against all bond issues and tax issues and so forth. At other times I think I bailed and went back to work on some particularly exciting space tourism business activities I had going right then. In the fullness of time, I withdrew my consent to be governed and refused to participate. I suppose "refusenik" hasn't been used in a little while. Maybe we should bring it back.

I do not consent. I will not comply. Follow me for more recipes for more freedom!

Truer words were never written. Thank you. It is nice to know that there are at least a few people out there who see things the way they really are.

Thank you for your very kind words and for reading my stuff. I believe it is essential that we look at the truth. Failing to do so has produced terrible results. What beautiful fruit might be possible from looking to the truth?

ty. there is a lot of blood crying out from this land. my sadness, turned to full blown fear when i witnessed what happened to a friend, and all of the last 5 years. i have gained respect for the beast whose belly i choose to drive my home & walk into every other week & subject myself to, to support my friend. the invasiveness i have accepted & is my choice. right now i am angry, very angry, because "doctors" are killing my mom by testing vs treating by changing her blood pressure med.

i am going to visit & must control my anger & let go of fear, bring my love for her instead. my faith & trust still falters but remains. my part to play is not over, your words strengthen me. God bless & keep you.

Dear Anne, thank you for your comments and kindness. Thank you for supporting your friend and caring for your mom. I shall pray for them and ask God to help them and you in the circumstances you are in. Love and faith will get you through. Anger is somewhat more useful than despair, but it is nothing compared to love.

Many people find themselves in circumstances we don't enjoy and which we are suffering for various reasons. God provides. A reckoning comes. The time is very near.

God bless you and keep you and strengthen you and uplift your spirit in these trying times. Amen.

Your friend,

Jim

ty. amen to every word. i am grateful & have always been very blessed. it is by that I am instructed in the love. yes, the reckoning is near, yet the thought brings little solace to me, yet. the fear, death & destruction is overwhelming at times. i must simply hold trust, faith & with courage keep walking my walk. 💙

Horiuchi was an army officer and a West Point grad. No manner of death is gruesome enough for his entire bloodline.

Great write up. We’re all tired of reform and BS Congressional panels that produce no consequences to those who offend or the offended. There’s no peaceful way to fix this. And there’s not much right left in western man. Doom cometh.

Thank you for your kind words about my essay. As I mentioned, I am not here to praise reform but to bury it. Good to see that there are good people like yourself who are ready to operate the backhoe and get this mess underground. God bless you and your family. Amen.

You mentioned your early home life being violent. Perhaps you should do a column on your background and your upbringing and so forth and your life circumstances

I am not sure if I should, but I have done. -smile-
