Bull's eye! "... the constitution has either authorised all the tyranny we see, or has been powerless to prevent any of it. Either way it is unfit to exist. It is not a good document."

Unlike the constitutions of Belize or Panama, the Lord Jesus Christ is nowhere recognized as the highest authority over the United States. In contrast, the highest authority is the same as when Moses was on Mt. Sinai: "We the people". In the Garden, Adam and Eve outvoted God two to one. That's democracy, the highest authority, offering "freedom".

Thanks, Jim, for revealing and disposing of the many dead ends in the maze of the social order that go under labels as "*.isms". For those heading toward the exit of life's maze that leads to a greater reality and a greater future, the basic categories are instead boolean: true-false, good-evil, Jesus-Satan. And John's Revelation, for emphasis, repeats who the people are in the only state that matters, the kingdom of God; they have two characteristics according to John. They: 1) keep the commandments of God, and 2) hold to the testimony of Jesus.

The U.S. Constitution is far from doing either. What confuses people is that the Devil is an Imitator, not a Creator, and borrowed from the Christian culture of the New England colonies to disguise the coup d' etat of the U.S. Founders as being Christianesque.
