Yeah, daddy's just sleepin'
And mama ain't around
We're gonna a-twist, a-twist, a-twistin'
'Til we tear the house down
~ The Twist, Chubby Checker, 1960
There has been some discussion recently that the decade we are in should have its own name. A hundred years ago, the 1920s were known as “The Roaring Twenties.” The 1880s were known as the Elegant Eighties; the 1950s as the Nifty Fifties and also as the Filthy Fifties, the Friendly Fifties; the 1890s had a festive mood and were known as the Gay Nineties; some called the 1930s the Dirty Thirties what with the dust bowl and the abject poverty brought on by the evil filthy demon worshippers like Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt; someone in Nebraska came up with “The Flying Forties,” because air travel became quite common that decade. There are other names for other decades, so feel free to mention some in the comments.
Today I am proposing that we name this decade The Twisted Twenties. See if you agree.
Twistedness
Well, the decade began with the complete psychosis of the plandemic/scamdemic. I want to mention that we deal with decades in a different fashion from the formal approach to centuries. Since there was no year zero, the First Century Anno Domini (AD) began with year one and therefore must end with year 100. Similarly though there were many celebrations on the 1st of “January” 2000 the century didn’t end until the 31st of “December” 2000. The first year of the new millennium is 2001. Sorry if I ruined all your celebrations. jk lol For decades, though, the first year of the decade is the one ending in zero. Because there is a year zero for each decade. So there.
The psychotic scamdemic was very twisted. As my friend
mentions in her many posts here on Substack, there wasn’t any epidemic visible to the hospital staff. Yet the pretence of a crisis was used to demand lockdowns, thanks largely to Anthony Fauci and others of his ilk. Tens of millions of Americans were impoverished and hundreds of thousands of businesses were closed as “non-essential” and many went bankrupt because of the evil, twisted, nastiness of the government imposed policies. People were arrested for going to the beach, walking outside, and doing all kinds of other ordinary activities. (Yes, the presence in my essay of the occasional link doesn’t mean the policy here is changed. You go do your own research please, you’ll be more confident of the info.) And all for a “disease” that had maybe a 99.99% survival rate? What a Twist!Mistakes, as my friend
says, were not made. No, it was all deliberate, it was all intentional. You can go look at the opening ceremony of the Olympics for the dancing nurses and the baby Boris Johnson in a crib, and other factual evidence of long range planning of recent events. Twisted my friends, very twisted. The policies were deliberate. The apologies are non-existent. But we’re supposed to have an amnesty? The vaxxajabs are poison and evil. You can read more about that topic from
and many others. I think you would do well to be sceptical about some of the people who “invented” these mRNA jabs, especially of their motivations and their apparent efforts to exculpate their own guilt, but I won’t mention Dr. Phony Balone for reasons. It is a very twisted time in human history. There was an election in 2020. It happens every four years. This time the results were twisted. Seriously twisted. One hundred thousand voters in Wisconsin who voted were registered to vote on the first day of “January” in 1918 which makes them some of the oldest people on Earth, and greatly elevates the age cohort of Wisconsin. All of them must have been 21 to be allowed to vote that year, and they all had to be male, because no one else was allowed to vote until 1920 (for women) and 1972 (for 18 year old women). Also, it was New Year’s Day so all government offices were closed on that day in 1918, but apparently their votes were twisted into existence. What a Twist!
For my own part, I think voting is a silly way to take choices. There is abundant evidence and anecdotes galore about vote fraud for every national election. But I will offer the following image just to give you a sense of how twisted things were in 2020. Look at that vote count plot. What a Twist!
To give you a sense of how twisted things are in 2023 I should mention that the above image was unobtainium from the Google search “tool” as I am henceforth calling it. I had to visit Yandex to find it and anything like it.
Well that brings us to the censorship industrial complex. Twisted! The famous and amazing
and some of his colleagues in the snooze media were given access by Elon Musk to “The Twitter Files” which I believe Matt did as much as anyone to make famous.Apparently, and old school Americans will be shocked to learn, there were official government censorship activities where the feral agents sent lists (!) of accounts to close, tweets to delete, and other attacks on free speech. There ought to be endless lawsuits out of these things, if anyone can get cracking on a class action lawsuit against the government officials involved before the harm done has been older than 2 years. (Ongoing harm in many instances is grounds for considerable extension.) Now why should the government officials be sued individually? Well, they cannot claim sovereign immunity for doing things that are forbidden in the constitution, and the first amendment is clear that there shall be no law against free speech and a free press. (Lysander Spooner is smiling right now.) If we make an example of some of them maybe we won’t “burn in the camps” regretting our missed opportunities, as the author of The Gulag Archipelago wrote.
Lawfare
Well, this brings us to a really interesting twistedness. The government is being weaponised against the people. In a democracy?! Who woulda guessed? Oh, you know, every libertarian who ever lived.
So one of the really interesting news stories of very recent vintage is that Texas attorney general Ken Paxton is investigating Media Matters with the intention of establishing their criminal and civil liability, harming people in Texas, with their lies about things published on Twitter and in other contexts. So, get this, Media Matters is suing in Maryland court to get an injunction against the Texas attorney general for merely investigating them. What a Twist! (Remember when Robot Chicken was funny? Yeah me neither.)
I could go on at great length, as I have in recent months, but I think today I shall refer to the words of Demi Pietchell
with the following embed. As if that isn’t sufficiently twisted, Elon Musk is threatening lawsuits and actually has sued various parties for censorship and for actionable libel about the X platform formally known as Twitter. That’s a twist!
No discussion of lawfare would be complete without an examination of the 6th day of the first month of 2021 when Americans gathered in their thousands to peaceably assemble and to petition for redress of grievances. The Pelosi team added some twists, though, so there were no national guard on the scene, despite repeated admonitions and requests from, e.g., the chief of the Capitol Hill police. Mike Pence refused to consider his properly constituted authority to carefully consider the certification of the electors and just rubber stamped the mess. What a twist.
So they arrested a few people, killed an unarmed veteran, refuse to prosecute her murderer, and they have been torturing for years American citizens for exercising their first amendment freedom to express their views, peacefully assemble, and tour their own property, the building their taxes paid for, into which they are not only allowed but encouraged to go. It’s really twisted.
Border
It is bordering on the insane to claim to be a country without a border. I am not a huge fan of the whole nation-state concept. Don’t misunderstand me, I like visitors from other countries. I like tourism. I have visited many countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. I am enthusiastic about trade and commerce. As Otto T. Mallery, apparently chanelling some concepts from Frederic Bastiat, once said, “If goods don’t cross borders, armies soon will.”
So I was thinking about how to present this idea that millions of undocumented persons are coming into the United States, on orders from Michelle Obama and her presidential team in the White House. Well, they say the border is under control. The non-pigmented house, as it should be called because “White House” is racis’ has a press secretary named Karine Jean-Pierre. I’ve no idea what gender this person is. But there have been repeated utterances from the press secretary that the border is secure, so it is a deliberate policy to allow in ruffians, military age men, nationals from every country, and terrorists who have been documented walking in. Which is a sort of twist on the old policy of, you know, asking people to get tourist visas?
Gender Twistations
I’m going to be as positive as I can about people suffering from gender dysphoria who want help. I’m also going to assert that bodily autonomy gives a person who has body parts to remove them and who wants body parts to augment themselves. I myself have no tattoos, no piercings, and no interest in botox or other madness.
But it is a really strange time, folx, when the Tavistock (!) Centre in the United Kingdom comes forth with a veteran of their gender affirming care clinic who says that it is a terrible treatment and a bad idea. Shouldn’t the Tavistock people be working out how to commit genocide and eliminate national sovereignty and individual liberty? What a twist.
I recently read a story on ZeroHedge to the effect that some women against violence were assaulted by a man who claimed to be transgender with bear spray. I’m having difficulty isolating the article, but it was within the last few weeks. In other news, mixed martial arts in some places have allowed men posing as women to violently attack and injure women competitors.
You can think whatever you want, but I think it is very twisted not only to take away bathrooms for women, not only to allow persons born with Y chromosomes to compete as women, but also to have schools trying to cover up the rape of girls in bathrooms invaded by cross-dressing boys. It is beyond twisted, it is ugly, it is evil, and it must end.
Mind War
We currently are in the midst of a mind war. Apparently this former Satanist in the military, Lt. Col. Michael Aquino, was dissatisfied with the demon worshipping he was involved in. So he called upon the evil one and was told to call that one “Set.” And founded a “Setian” cult. Which you can research on your own if you wish.
But he’s apparently also deeply involved in the USA military’s psychological operations directorate as an emeritus participant in their nastiness. I’ll let you read the twisted story, which I found here.
Say what you will about military preparedness, and about freedom of religious expression. But I think it is a sign of serious depravity that the USA military has had, since the 1970s, an admitted demon worshipper on its psychological operations team with a Lt. Col. rank. I gather he is not the only one. It would be wise to have a house cleaning, if you understand my meaning.
Mandela Effects
Way back in 1989 and 1990 I served on the national board of directors of what was calling itself the National Space Society. Some of the other board members at the time were Jim Muncy, Ben Bova, and George Koopman. I was a regional representative from the region that includes Texas. There is quite a lot more to tell about those halcyon days, my brief effort to reform and improve the group founded by Werner von Braun that I now call the Nationalist Socialist Space Society. If you take a look at von Braun’s personal enthusiasm for every Nazi group he could possibly join, compared to say Walter Dornberger who only joined the hunting club and only because he couldn’t hunt otherwise, I think it’s fair.
Anyway, I was very sad when my friend George Koopman was murdered by the USA military with an army truck. That was in late “July” 1989, a couple of days after the 20th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing.
About a decade later, I was at home in Houston when I read the obituary of my friend Ben Bova. His passing was a source of great sadness to me. I remember it very clearly because I was a big fan of Bova’s novels. He wrote really epic science fiction stories. As I recall it was 1998 when I read his obit.
So, in 2006, I was really surprised when I was talking to David Friedman at a private gathering at the World Science Fiction convention in Los Angeles. David asked if I had read the latest Ben Bova novel. I looked at him like he was off his rocker. Then I remembered that Virginia Heinlein had posthumously published some of the manuscripts of Bob Heinlein, including the unexpurgated and much better than ever before seen text of Stranger in a Strange Land. So I asked Dave if Barbara (Ben’s wife) had published a manuscript posthumously. It was David’s turn to look at me as if I were off my rocker.
“What do you mean, posthumously? Ben is alive.” David was perplexed. So I explained about having read Ben’s obituary. And promptly forgot the conversation.
Until I began working closely with Arto Bendiken and J. Neil Schulman on the web site for Neil’s book Alongside Night which Neil had ambition to make into a film. Neil began telling me about a whole collection of experiences of his own and of others he had of people who were dead, but now were alive.
This experience has come to be called “The Mandela Effect” because Fiona Broome and thousands of other people have clear memories of Nelson Mandela being murdered by the apartheid government of South Africa in prison on Robinette island in the 1980s. But we also know that Mandela served as president of the post-apartheid government in South Africa.
Recently I had the experience of waking up and learning that the Mandela effect is the result of God breaking the timeline. So I asked why, and was told it is done to save more souls. I wrote about it earlier this week.
So, if you have your own Mandela effect experience or experiences, please add them to the comments below. It need not be a person passing away. If you remember a law being passed, or an event happening, and you look for it and cannot find it mentioned anywhere, let me know.
Free the Slaves
I want to take a moment to return to a prayer that I have been saying for some years now. It was inspired by the great prayer for the holy souls in purgatory by St. Gertrude the Great. It goes like this:
Eternal Father please help us free the slaves, stop the wars, and end tyranny. Please help with guidance, resources, ingenuity, endurance, fortitude, and patience. Please show us the little fires so we may pass by them. Please bring love into our lives so we remember what we have to live for.
I would like to mention that when I didn’t want to put “patience” in the prayer, I kept getting really strong leadings from the Holy Spirit that it had to be in there. I am not a very patient man. And I really want to go to the stars, so waiting around while we free the slaves, stop the wars, and end tyranny has seemed like a lot to ask. But, I did try that project in 1990 and we did have a contract to put an American for a week on the Soviet space station Mir and the government destroyed our company and my finances in 1991. And then admitted that it was a lawful sweepstakes the whole time.
So…I think we cannot get communities beyond Earth in the Sol star system unless we can begin from a free country. I’ve looked. I’ve asked around, a lot. There are none.
Thus it is my thought that in addition to calling this decade the Twisted Twenty-Twenties, we dedicate our time to freeing the slaves. If we happen to stop the wars and end tyranny at the same time, great. But let’s end the child sex trafficking, let’s stop the selling of babies for their organs and blood, and let’s see what we can do about human slavery. One step at a time.
Summary
Well, there’s no doubt a lot more, but I think I have made my case that four years in, the decade of the Twenty-Twenties are already pretty twisted. The Twisted Twenty-Twenties. See how that alliteration sings!
But what about you? Are you just going to sit there and read, or do you have an example of something in recent events that seems pretty twisted? I think we should use this post as a place for collecting twistednesses. So there, I’m making up words as I go along. English is a language with no official authority, so you can too.
God bless you and keep you. May you and your families have abundant prosperity. Amen.
Come back tomorrow when I post again with something new. Or old.
A hundred police officers standing around allowing a guy to kill a bunch of kids in Uvalde, Texas was pretty damn twisted.
This is discussed at length in Anathem, a book you recently covered.
If waveforms of different universes are close enough, Þey can merge, even if Þey contained different initial world lines, they can still have convergent and identical future word lines.
Not all actions are determinative of a universe’ end state.
