It has been argued by a virulent Marxist who came to the comments on an earlier post where I included the above graphic that Jesus only meant the following words as a temporary request:
“And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.” ~ Luke 22:35-38
I believe the Marxist is wrong because he wants to harm other people. Therefore he wants a strong national government, and even a strong international government, to do as much harm to as many people as possible. Disarming the shepherds and the flock is the way he would have things because he is evil. I won’t link to his profile because I don’t want his views to be spread. Of course, if you have a rational argument against the right to keep and bear arms, feel free to post it in the comments. You’re wrong, and we’ll demolish your argument, but you are free to have wrong ideas.
This essay is about the right to keep and bear arms. People in the Marxist community hate poor people. So they want them disarmed and enslaved. Now, that may sound incorrect if you perceive Marxists and socialists as making a lot of noise about helping poor people. But when you look at the outcome of their programmes, the people who actually get “helped” and who help themselves to money from the gooferment are the people in bureaucracies.
Bureau rats make bank on the poor. So they don’t want poor people having freedom, having property, and having low taxes. They want to hurt the poor as much as possible, they want to make poor people out of the lower middle class, and they don’t mind hurting wealthier Americans who disagree with them to make them poor, too. Marxists are evil. You need to understand that fact if you want to build a better future for yourself and your posterity.
So why do poor people need guns? They need to be able to protect the little property they have from theft and vandalism. And what are they going to do? Call the filthy coproaches?
Look, you may have a relationship with a police officer or sheriff’s deputy that isn’t based on fear. Or you may believe it isn’t based on fear. But, I am not here to be a fan. There are far too many experiences in my life that have directly affected my health and welfare that make it clear to me that the police do not “serve and protect” everyone. They are extremely selective. Nor does the history of policing support any kind of goodness. The first city police force, the Metropolitan police in London, were created by Sir Bobby Peele (thus their names “peelers” and “bobby’s” in popular lexicon) for the purpose of ridding central London of Irish, ginhouses, poor people, prostitutes, and lower class gambling dives. You can look it up, and if you want some really ugly ethnic bigotry, spend some time on that Peele character.
What you find if you are poor is that calling the police does you no good, ever, and does you some harm nearly always. The police are interested in helping wealthy people. They are funded by taxes. They are interested in promotions. These things are much more likely to be influenced by wealthy people than by poor people. Also, police tend to be bullies. Very few people join a police force for any purpose other than hurting their neighbours. They are cowards, as the Uvalde police proved most clearly. Bullies are always cowards. Bullies with badges are more likely to get away with bullying. Nobody with a badge wants to serve their neighbours, they want to serve those who pay them. They only got a badge so they could bully other people with something like impunity. And the courts have repeatedly ruled that cops have “sovereign immunity” and can rape, torture, murder, steal, beat, and brutalise without any consequences.
For example, a SWAT team of terribly unpleasant, ugly, nasty, mean-spirited enforcers had the wrong house. So they deliberately threw a flash-bang grenade at a 17 month old child and injured it. They believe they are immune from discipline. I believe they should all be fired, should never be allowed to work in law enforcement or security work ever again, and should pay all of their pensions to the child’s family for the rest of their lives. But I don’t make the rules. (You might not want to click the link that I chose for “SWAT team” above because it goes to an ACLU web site that has popups. On the other hand, it isn’t any of the hoax stream media sites like Nationalist Broadcasting Communism or People magazine, so feel free to do your own research.)
One of the best possible outcomes for a person in a poor neighbourhood who calls the police, they will get to see some police presence in twenty or thirty minutes. Maybe not that same day. Maybe someone comes by to fill out a “police report” in case there is insurance on the stolen vehicle or other stolen items. More likely there won’t be any help at all, because the police hate being around poor people. Many police actively discriminate against poor people, calling them names, using stereotypical epithets, and ethnic bigotry to enhance the experience of humiliating others.
The worst possible outcome is that the poor person will themselves be accused of the crime, or of making a false report, or of being an accomplice in some other crime. If the police are under any pressure at all to “solve” a case by making up a perpetrator and pinning it on some innocent person, they will use every opportunity to hurt their neighbours. John Lott who researches these things says, “Indeed, they rarely respond to live crime scenes at all. But unfortunately for poor people living in the country’s most violent neighborhoods, Democrats just don’t trust them with guns.”
There’s a funny scene in the film “Sneakers” when Robert Redford’s character says that he could have joined the national security agency, but they wouldn’t take him. Why not? When he filled out his civil service enrollment, they found out his parents were married. The implication being that everyone in the nsa is a bastard. The same obviously goes for the cia, fbi, and local law enforcement. We have a convenient hashtag #ACAB which stands for “all cops are bastards.” It is one of the less thorough descriptions of the police.
So who does David Hogg want to hurt? Not wealthy people. Not good members of his socialist collective. David Hogg wants to disarm everyone he can arrange to disarm, and the people whose guns will be taken away first are the poorest people. Which means that David Hogg is an evil bigot who wants to hurt his neighbours. So are all the other gun grabbers. Hogg is exceptionally evil because he is paid to be a shill for the gun grabbing collectivists.
Another exceptionally evil man is Michael Bloomberg. He is one of the most disgusting human beings on Earth.
In California, which Hillary Clinton won by about 30 points, fees can be as high as $385 for just two years. In New York City, where she won by 60 points, a three-year permit costs $430. Furthermore, Mr. Lott writes, blue states such as California and Illinois require training hours that are four times the national average, adding hundreds of dollars to the cost of a concealed-carry license. In liberal stronghold Illinois, permit and training fees run to $450. In Indiana next door, GOP territory, the total comes to about $50. And there are many other mandates in some blue states that make owning a firearm as unattainable as possible for anyone except those with money and connections. . . .

Mike Bloomberg wants more crime in poor areas because he personally hates poor people with a vengeance. So while he was in power he was against gun ownership and still is. Barack Obama and his boyfriend “Michelle” Obama want to murder people in cold blood without any consequences. The last thing these villains want is to ever see anyone able to defend themselves. They are enthusiasts of child rapists like Prince Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein, and Bill Clinton. I believe they worship demons and enthusiastically sacrifice babies to Moloch. The world would be better off without them and their psychofants.
“Commie is as commie does, Lt. Dan”
The statist wants a bigger state. Every Democrat has become a statist, or has left the party. They want a bigger government. They want more agencies, more intrusions into the lives of others, more socialism, more communism, a bigger army, more overseas adventures to slaughter American men and women in uniform, more budget, higher taxes, more poverty to justify more socialism, and on and on. Having people keep and bear arms is the only way to reduce crime.
In countries where keeping arms is outlawed, people are attacked with knives and spears and bricks. Crimes happen, though there are people in government who try to reduce the amount of reporting on those crimes. People are unsafe in their homes because anyone who breaks in can be pretty sure that nobody at home has a gun. Some people get a dog or dogs, but there is always a house down the street without a dog. Sometimes a police officer parks a police vehicle in the neighbourhood so the crime goes elsewhere for a little while. But the people who have wealth and power are interested in more wealth and power. So they are interested in depriving their neighbours of the means of defence.
In a further desecration of freedom, the police and the lawyers have teamed up in the legislatures of the several states to create a large number of felony laws. Not obeying the orders, however perverse, of a police office is amongst them. Police are killers and rapists, so stopping for them is unwise, but if you don’t, you will be charged with a crime of failure to obey them, or evading arrest, or some other made up crime. And that is often a felony, especially if you are in a motor vehicle. Now, that in itself is absurd and wrong, but it gets worse. If you are convicted of a felony, and lawyers are always eager to make it very expensive to have competent defence and “public defender” attorneys are always very eager to cooperate with the prosecution so they can later get jobs with the prosecutor’s office, so a guilty plea may be economically essential, well, then you cannot carry a gun or in many places a knife. Because you were poor, now you are a convicted felon, so you are further denied the freedom to defend yourself. Your system stinks. You should stop supporting it.
Some Good News
The cost of making a gun has been coming down for centuries. Today with 3D printing and CNC milling it is possible to make a gun that is very inexpensive. Quite a lot of individuals are making guns as a hobby. These are guns without serial numbers, which is how they should be. The police statists want every gun to have a serial number because they want to round up the guns and execute the gun owners. The claim that crimes are solved because there are serial numbers on guns is unproven. In fact, entire databases of information on guns were being kept for years even though they never solved a single crime.
Although the system, including allegedly “conservative” justices on the supreme court want to have serial numbers on all gun parts, the law is nearly unenforceable. And it is evil and wrong-headed. So there is some opportunity for good people to make and sell guns that are inexpensive and don’t comply.
You are helping the state by paying taxes and by complying. You should probably figure out ways to lawfully and effectively avoid taxes and you should stop complying with laws that are wrong and evil. Stop hurting your neighbours in your search for ways to be obedient. God never told you to obey evil. So cut it out.
That’s all I’ve got for today. Come back later when I have something new. Or old.
It is not our friends that ask us to lay down our arms, but our enemies.
