When I learned in 1991 in a complete and irrevocable way that I was not then and had never been living in a free country, it horrified me. I was literally dysfunctional for weeks. My friends at Space Travel Services and I persevered. Since then, I have searched for a free country. There are none.
Now, some people might inquire, you searched by sitting at a keyboard? To which the answer is, no. I searched by joining groups that expressed interest in individual sovereignty, travelled and worked in Africa, Europe, Asia, and many parts of North America. In my short life I have visited dozens of countries and every single state in the United States, no exceptions. I have worked with and conversed with people from countries all around the world, including members of the world congresses of the International Society for Individual Liberty that was coerced to change its name to Liberty International earlier this century.
When I first subscribed to L5 News with my own money in 1977, I thought the people involved were good people who would work hard to help companies explore the space frontier. I admit to being bitterly disappointed in 1988 by Mark Hopkins and Lori Garver, among others by whom I felt betrayed. I admit that when Glenn Reynolds attacked the company I was working for in 1990 by having the new National Space Society oppose low cost access to space through a “dumping” claim against the Long March rocket services being offered to the Saudi government, it was both disappointing and confounding. Since it was done in secret without consultation with the board of directors, on which I had a seat at the time, I resigned in protest. I still object in every conceivable way to every aspect of the National Space Institute, from its founding by arch-Nazi mass murderer Untersturmführer Werner von Braun to its current work as a government advocacy group. These are all, however, symptoms.
Of what are they symptoms? They are symptoms of a people and a country that have lost their way. The country in which you now live, with its mandatory lockdowns, mandatory face masquerades, hateful vaxxajab murder-the-sick-and-elderly mandates, and its open censorship of everyone and everything that opposes the sick demented demon worshipping baby raping war profiteers who run the government is morally reprehensible. Your “United States” government is evil.
Well, gosh. That was not in any of the organising documents. The Declaration of Independence invokes the name of God in its opening paragraph and calls upon Divine Providence in its closing. How, then, did the revolution come to be betrayed, the freemason demon worshippers come to power, and the corrupt evil system we see around us now get in place? In my opinion, the plantation owning freemasons such as Washington and Hamilton wanted to institute plantation slavery for every American. They wrote the constitution for that purpose, and over the subsequent centuries an edifice of demonic temples and monuments was erected. Mordor on the Potomac is an evil place that I’ve had the misfortune to visit on a few occasions.
The above image showing the true nature of the evil mass murdering war profiteering filth that is Washington, the District of Corruption, comes from this excellent site: http://7-themes.com/
You may have another country in mind. A good friend who helped a group build a rocket and its avionics systems (astrionics actually) emigrated a few years after the beginning of this millennium to Belize. He has tried on a few occasions to persuade me that it is a better, more free place. Perhaps it is. But I don’t think its population has the spirit of freedom that I have found in the Free Mountain West. So I’m staying in this country.
Which brings us to the question: What is America? Who are the true Americans? What is the American dream and how do we get back to it?
One great American who did a lot of amazing singing, songwriting, and acting was Ray Charles. I continue to think his role in the 1980 Blues Brothers film remains a pinnacle of his career. But I like a lot of the films of John Landis. So when I learned that Ray had composed a version of America the Beautiful, I thought it worth hearing.
Oh beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife
Who more than self, their country loved
And mercy more than life
America, America may God thy gold refine
'Til all success be nobleness
And every gain divined
And you know when I was in school
We used to sing it something like this, listen here
Oh beautiful, for spacious skies
For amber waves of grain
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain
But now wait a minute, I'm talking about
America, sweet America
You know, God done shed his grace on thee
He crowned thy good, yes he did, in brotherhood
From sea to shining sea
You know, I wish I had somebody to help me sing this
(America, America, God shed his grace on thee)
America, I love you America, you see
My God he done shed his grace on thee
And you oughta love him for it
'Cause he, he, he, he crowned thy good
He told me he would, with brotherhood
(From sea to shining Sea)
Oh Lord, oh Lord, I thank you Lord
(Shining sea)
When I was in school, we sang that song. When I was in high school, the school required a two-semester course on the constitution. A passing grade both semesters was required for graduation. The teacher, a conservative who had been a hippy fifteen years before, had us read extensively from Alexis de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America. It might still do you some good to be familiar with its contents.
I think it is a sign of how far America has fallen and how terribly personally evil Jeff Bezos and his “Amazon” have become that when I searched for that book by author and name, the first suggested purchase was some communist drivel purporting to explain the importance of social justice theology. No thanks, demon worshippers, not buying your drivel.
Which brings us to the theme of this essay. Make America Godly Again. (MAGA, yes, how about that?) How? I believe through prayers and through conversations. For we battle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high places, to quote St. Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians. It would not be wise to battle against people, because that would be used to label you as an extremist. Moreover, however many demon worshippers you were to fight in the flesh and blood sense, there would be more to take their places. The physical attacks would be used to justify more spiritual and physical retribution.
Mind you, I firmly believe you should defend yourself, your family, and your property. You have a duty to defend what God has given you stewardship over, and Jesus speaks clearly about this matter in Luke 22:36. “He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.”
Doing so is important, because although we battle against evil, we also battle against dupes and fools who serve evil. The battles to come will include open warfare on the North American continent. “But mark my words. This war will be fought not on the frontier or on some distant battlefield, but amongst us -- among our homes. Our children will learn of it with their own eyes. And the innocent will die with the rest of us.” Good film, The Patriot.
I believe that God wants us to be victorious over evil. In Micah 5:5, Jesus raises up seven shepherds and eight commanders to battle the invader. God will destroy in anger and wrath those who have not obeyed God.
It didn’t used to be a controversial idea. But, then, nasty woke corporation politicians didn’t used to say that thus and such beer was consumed by mere frat boys and undesirables. Few thought it wise to advocate for the sterilisation and sexual mutilation of children fifty years ago. Few hospitals were profiting from such “works.” When we sang “America the Beautiful” in elementary school, people who advocated for adults having sex with children were regarded as outside society, evil, and unworthy. Today in the guise of “diversity, equity, and inclusion” we are told that the massacre of children in Nashville must be ignored because they were Christians, and the mutilation of children must be endorsed because those who worship the demon Baphomet believe they must make mankind slaves and alter people surgically to look like the demon they worship.
It was once controversial to advocate for the murder of children, especially, as Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger wrote, the deliberate sterilisation of “feeble minded” persons, including minorities she found anathema. It used to be controversial, because America used to believe that God created men and women and, as the Declaration of Independence declares in the preamble, “all men are created equal.” Eugenics, a popular heresy of the early 20th Century amongst persons who self-described as superior has returned, with a vengeance. The worshippers of the demon Moloch advocate for slaughtering babies.
So, when I write, “Make America Godly Again,” I seek an America founded on the truth, obedient to God, consistent with our founding document that declares us all created equal and endowed by our Creator with rights that are an essential aspect of ourselves. Jesus taught us that building upon the solid foundation of His teachings would result in a lasting edifice. I believe we can build a stairway to the planets and the stars, if we build on a solid foundation of moral principles. I also believe we cannot, otherwise.
If you seek monuments to the difficulties inherent in many Americans turning away from God, look around you. If you would have a better future, one that provides for your children and grandchildren, with opportunities and freedom, not poverty and enslavement, then I invite you to
Make America Godly Again
Well Jim,
Have to say amen to the idea of chastisement.
Reason being the chastisement that has become part of my living these last few years.
A sort of revelation came to me just this morning.
Was thinking about past things and re membered an experience has way back when in first grade in a Catholic school.
Our Lady of Victory at Troy New York.
It was some sort of holyday and has on an aluminum foil costume dressed up as some saint.
Had me a sword a cap and a shield.
Was as proud as wild stallion standing up on a high ridge.
Somehow a jug of chocolate milk got tipped over and wrecked my cap and shield.
Man the devastation and fear came over me and still remember it clearly.
Pretty weird how odd events leave lasting impacts.
Not that it is real big deal just interesting.
But today it had a more metaphoric feel to it.
Have spent my life trying to walk the Narrow way.
Have gone over the lines many times and seem to get back on for a bit.
Bit never for a long time.
This on again off again thing.
It was the same for Israel of the Old Testament records.
On again off again.
So yeah multiply my own experience time millions of us and this is how we get back on the Narrow way.
Trouble with it is 40 thousand denominations.
We gotta find the most basic place to begin.
Doctrinal lines are way too subjective.
My thing is start with Love the Lord Our God with ALL of our heart and might.
Then love our neighbor at least as much as our own selfs.
If we can get that and earn some levels of trust and respect for one another then possibly we can reason together to work out all the other stuff.
Like He said IF we seek first HIs Kingdom and HIS Righteousness, ALL the other things will be added in.
So back to the cap and shield .
Yeah am still that young boy who lost his Helmet of Salvation and His shield of Faith.
Time to get it back.
Mordor on the Potomac, indeed!
